Scott Hoffman in Mammoth's Unbound Magazine

Mammoth mountain released their first issue of a magazine last month.  The name of the magazine is called "Unbound". The Magazine focuses on the Mammoth mountain and around the area.  I got a photo  jumping over a fence that Terren Gomez photographed.  Gomez has published many photos in Transworld and Snowboarder magazine as well.  Check out the intense story behind this photo by clicking on this link.

Banged in Transworld

Well in the life of Bang, today I would like to discuss my first Transworld Snowboarding Magazine photograph. I got home and checked my facebook to come to see a photo I recieved in Transworlds Photo issue.  The photo was taken this summer by my friend/Windells Photographer Darcy Bacha.  Darcy received a "check out" in this issue and I was fortunate enough for them to use a photo taken of me. I saw this old snow cat just sitting on the snow one day and had the idea of tapping or jumping over the snowcat.  I got shut down by the mountain manager one day while I was shoveling the take-off over the cat. The jump was nearly finished and that night another snowcat took down the jump.  Darcy and I knew it would be a unique shot so we built it up again a couple days later with the help of Justin Norman and Matt Gonzales.  Each one of us got a few tricks and then ski patrol came by and told us we were cut off.  Thanks Darcy and everyone else who made this possible.
